Cluster of Excellence “Asia and Europe in a Global Context” funding approved for the next five years
On June 15, the Excellence Initiative Grants Committee – the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) and the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat) – approved the funding for the second phase of the excellence initiative. Heidelberg University successfully received funding for all 6 proposals. We congratulate in particular the cluster of excellence “Asia and Europe in a Global Context” for this great success.
