In the recent article "Offsetting Greenhouse Gas Emissions in the Himalaya? Clean Development Dams in Himachal Pradesh, India" the authors Alexander Erlewein and Marcus Nüsser (Department of  Geography, SAI) present a study on the effectiveness of dams for climate protection.
