Daniel Kiowski coordinator of “CATS-Schülerlabor”

We cordially welcome Daniel Kiowski as the new coordinator of the “CATS-Schülerlabor,” a student lab for German high school students located at the South Asia Institute.
New Project by Jörg Gengnagel and Eric Decker
A new project with the title “A Pilgrimage Scroll (tīrthapaṭṭa) from Rajasthan: Visual Journeys and Confluences of Devotion at the three Cities of Gayā, Kāśī and Prayāg” coordinated by Jörg Gengnagel (Department of Cultural and Religious History of South Asia) and Eric Decker (Heidelberg Research Architecture) has been launched.

The Open Access platform CrossAsia-eBooks is now online. It offers a new publication on labour migration and the first volumes of the series Berlin Geographical Papers.
Workshops in India on "Smart City: Infrastructure & Mobility in the 21st century"
The Heidelberg Centre South Asia in New Delhi, organizes four workshops in India on “Smart City: Infrastructure & Mobility in the 21st century”. They will take place in Kolkata (August 9), Cochin (August 11), Pune (August 19) and Bangalore (September 16).
CrossAsia E-Publishing at the 24th ECSAS in Warsaw (27-30 July 2016)
CrossAsia E-Publishing will be present at the 24th European Conference on South Asian Studies in Warsaw to introduce the three publication platforms CrossAsia-Repository, CrossAsia Journals and CrossAsia-eBooksBooks.
