Workshop Workshop - Publishing in South Asian Studies

This workshop for early career scholars will provide tips and strategies for publishing in South Asian Studies, with particular reference to journal publishing. Anyone with a potential article is welcome to join and learn how to build a publication strategy; to identify which journal to target; how to write an abstract; how to manage your correspondence with the editor/editorial management system; how to manage difficult processes; how to cope with rejection; and how to respond to difficult reports.

The class will be facilitated by Prof. Kama Maclean, who was editor of South Asia for 12 years. Registration is essential, please email history@sai.uni-heidelberg.de.
