Exchange opportunities for SAI students

Europe

ERASMUS

ERASMUS, the European Union's mobility program, allows students to spend an exchange semester or year at another university within the EU, an EU candidate country, Switzerland, Norway or Turkey.
Every institute in Heidelberg has its own partner universities in Europe, and there are also exchange places available centrally through the ERASMUS+ program. In total, there are more than 700 exchange opportunities with almost 6000 study places. All students at Heidelberg University can apply for Erasmus study places at the individual institutes. Usually, the institute's own students are given preference in the selection process. However, if an institute has open places, students from other institutes can also apply. If you are planning an exchange semester at a university with which the SAI does not have an agreement, please have a look at the complete list of available exchange places and contact the respective institute in Heidelberg that offers an exchange to your favorite university.
