Sri Lanka Working Group

The Sri Lanka Working Group was founded in summer 2014. For members of staff and students from the SAI it provides a forum for cross-disciplinary exchange on Sri Lanka. Latest developments in Sri Lanka as well as research on Sri Lanka will be discussed. Regular activities – predominately during lecture time – are conducted. The Sri Lanka Working Group supports the efforts of the SAI for a profound academic exchange with Sri Lanka that in the same year was further enhanced by the (re)opening of the SAI branch office in Colombo.
