New Issue of Nidan: International Journal for Indian Studies (HASP)

The December 2025 issue of Nidan: International Journal for Indian Studies, published by Heidelberg Asian Studies Publishing (HASP) has just been published. Edited by Deepra Dandekar, and guest-edited in 2025 by Anne Castaing and Murphy, this issue (Issue 10, volume 2) is titled "Imagining Urbanity in Colonial and Postcolonial South Asia, Part-2". 

The issue has interesting articles on Lahore, the Straits-Settlement, Mumbai, and Banaras. There two additional articles on the intellectual history of Sikhism and Digambara Jain lineages along with many book reviews in this issue.
