SFB 619 Data Archive
Over the course of ten years substantial amounts of diverse materials have been accumulated by the Collaborative Research Centre 619 "Ritual Dynamics" at Heidelberg University. These materials play a crucial part in comprehending the dynamics of various forms of rituals our sub-projects have analysed. To make these image-, video- and text-based materials available and to process them, especially in respect to sustainability, for future research, this portal has been designed in close collaboration with the Heidelberg Research Architecture of the Cluster of Excellence "Asia & Europe in a Global Context: Shifting Asymmetries in Cultural Flows". It serves to create a synergy of all of the participating projects' material after collecting, digitising and processing it for ongoing research and anyone who is interested in the subject matter.
