New Book by Hans Harder on "Literature and Nationalist Ideology"
Hans Harder (ed.): Literature and Nationalist Ideology : Writing Histories of Modern Indian Languages. Delhi: Social Science Press 2010.

Prof. Dr. Hans Harder has edited the book "Literature and Nationalist Ideology. Writing Histories of Modern Indian Languages".
It gives a significant insight into the literary modernity in South Asia. "This volume takes on big questions, making a sophisticated and significant contribution to the great tradition of assessing the emergence of literary modernity in South Asia", comments Vasudha Dalmia, Professor of Hindi and Chair of the Department of South and Southeast Asian Studies at the University of California.
