▍ National Mission for Manuscripts: Present, Past and Future

Dr. Anirban Dash (Director, National Mission for Manuscripts, New Delhi)

The National Mission for Manuscripts was set up in 2003 to revive and revitalize the essence of Indian traditional knowledge systems and its scholastic manuscript heritage. There is a need for setting up standards for digitization, conservation, documentation and research of manuscripts. This should be followed by all the organizations involved in the work to ensure the uniformity of data.

The present talk will highlight the role of National Mission for Manuscripts.
