Restoration of Pavilion in Patan is completed
The restoration of a traditional pavilion (phalcha / pati) in the old
city of Patan is completed. The hand-over ceremony to the local community will
take place on March 23, 2017 at 07:30 at the monument. It will feature short
presentations by Padma Sundar Maharjan, Shyam
Gopal Maharjan, Rajendra Shakya, Christiane Brosius, and Axel
Michaels.

Christiane Brosius launches her latest book
"Breaking Views: Engaging Art in Post-Earthquake Nepal" (Himal Books)
which she co-produced with artist Sanjeev Maharjan. The book launch will be part of the
exhibition and panel discussion on home, city, and migration at the Kathmandu
Triennale on March 26, 2017, 5-7 pm, Tangalwood Hotel.
