Library
In April 2014 the SAI Kathmandu Office received the extensive library of the Nepal Research Centre (NRC), as a permanent loan from the books' owner, the German Oriental Society (Deutsche Morgenländische Gesellschaft (DMG). It was merged with its own collection to form a library that consists of approximately 9,000 books, journals, and maps. The library is continuously being expanded and is open for research and self-study during the opening hours. A catalogue of the library material will be uploaded online shortly so that it can be browsed through a database search.
