Overview
There are a limited number of openings to pursue a PhD in South Asian History under the supervision of Professor Kama Maclean.
Elegibility
Acceptance for supervision in the department is dependent upon applicants meeting the acceptance requirements of the
Faculty of Arts. For this purpose, applicants must be able to demonstrate that they hold an MA in History with above average grades.
Criteria
Projects should align with the criteria of the funding body that is being targeted. They should be innovative and fresh, that demonstrate a development in the candidate’s research career. Applications should align with the profile of the department’s research and teaching agenda (broadly speaking, 19th and 20th century histories of South Asia).

Funding
