Ina Miller studied Cultural Anthropology and East Slavonic Studies at the University of Tübingen, Germany. She continued her studies in Anthropology during an extended stay in the USA, where she completed her B.A. in Anthropology/Sociology at Florida International University in 2008. In 2010 she joined the MAHASSA program and wrote her final thesis on the relationship between allopathy and alternative health care in Germany, entitled "Alternatives and Asymmetries in Prenatal Care. A Case Study on Prenatal Yoga in Germany".
