Jeanne Laurent graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in textile and apparel design and a minor in anthropology. Aside from currently working on a Master in Health and Society is South Asia, Jeanne is also completing two educational training programs in alternative medicine with the intention of becoming a licensed Heilpraktiker. The focal point of Jeanne's work as Heilpraktikerin will involve techniques developed from the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Tibetan Medicine. Jeanne's ambition to combine an anthropological approach towards practical knowledge of South Asian Medicine will provide a holistic understanding of health, disease, and illness.
