Brenna Anderson

Brenna is a Canadian student who completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Alberta with a double major in Anthropology and German. Her interest in medical anthropology, medical pluralism, maternal health, and health and identity, as well her background in German culture and literature, brought her to Heidelberg to study the MAHASSA program. Through this program she wishes to explore access to healthcare services within South Asian and European contexts, with specific focus on pre and post-natal care. She is also interested in how accessing healthcare services helps to construct social/cultural identities.
