Research Associate Tim Jasny, M. Sc.

Tim Jasny has studied Geography at Heidelberg University since 2019. After studying the effects of forest fires on boreal forests in Northern Mongolia for his Bachelor Thesis, he shifted his focus to the biogeography of glacial environments during his master’s degree. For his master thesis he studied the supraglacial vegetation of the debris-covered Belvedere Glacier in the Italian Alps. At the Department of Geography at the South Asia Institute, he is pursuing his PHD on the subject of supraglacial vegetation.
