                              Act No.35 of 1987

An Act made further to amend the Public Demands Recovery Act, 1913

Whereas it is expediant further to amend the Public Demands Recovery Act, 1913 (Ben. Act III
of 1913) for carrying out the purposes appearing below;

Now, therefore, it is hereby enacted as follows:-
1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Public Demands Recovery (Amendment) Act, 1987.

2. Amendment of section 3 of Ben. Act III of 1913.- In section 3 of the Public Demands
Recovery Act (Ben. Act III of 1913), in clause (3), for the words and comma "Sub-divisional
Officer" the words and commas "Upazila Nirbahi Officer, a Upazila Magistrate" shall be
substituted.
