International Conference Philosophy and Science - Indo-German Dialogues and Dimensions
11. - 13. Juli 2013
The conference funded by the ICCR is inaugurated by Her Excellency the Ambassador of India (requested), Prof. Dietmar Rothermund, and Profs Dhruv Raina and Hans Harder (conference organisers) on Thursday, 11th July, 2013 at 6 p. m. in Senatssaal, Alte Universität Heidelberg.
On 12th and 13th July, 2013 the conference takes place in the Heinrich-Zimmer-Saal, SAI-Library. The conference aims at elaborating and engaging with the Indo-German intellectual exchange respectively the scientific interactions and institutional contacts. In this context, the conference will bring together German, Indian and international scholars who will discuss emerging questions to set up a comprehensive and contemporary perspective on Indo-German exchanges in the past and the present. The conference is organized by the South Asia Institute of Heidelberg University, the South Asia Democratic Forum (SADF), Brussels (Belgium) and the Liberation War Museum (LWM) from Bangladesh.
The conference is inaugurated on 4 July 2013 at 9.15 a. m. by a talk of Hans Harder, Paulo Casaca, Mofidul Hoque and a film-screening by Zahir Raihan and is continued with a comprehensive program, which can be seen
