Book presentation by Amtul Manan Tahir
On March 21st, 2015 at 5 p.m. a presentation of the book "Wessen Dschihad?" by the author Amtul Manan Tahir (Urdu lecturer at the Department of Modern South Asian Languages and Literatures at the South Asia Institute) will take place as part of the Frankfurt Book Fair for Immigration 2015 (Frankfurter Immigrationsbuchmesse).

Translation-Workshop on 21.01.2014
On January 21st, a workshop about translations of South Asian regional languages entitled "Übersetzungen und Übersetzungstheorien im Bezug auf südasiatische Regionalsprachen" will be held from 10.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. at the Heinrich-Zimmer reading room of the South Asia Institute.
