Hindi Day on 27 January 2017

29.11.2016: Thrust Into Heaven at Karlstorkino

On Tuesday, 29 November 2016, 7 pm, the movie „Thrust Into Heaven“ will be showed at Karlstorkino. Thrust Into Heaven focuses on Sanjesh Dhanja, an activist whose NGO “Pakistan Hindu Seva Welfare Trust” promotes Pakistani-Hindus’ cultural identity and fights for their rights as equal citizens of the Islamic Republic.

Guest Lectures by Dr. Sarunas Paunksnis

Dr. Sarunas Paunksnis from Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, is coming to the South Asia Institute next week, November 7-11. In the framework of an ERASMUS exchange, he will teach a number of classes both at the SAI and at the Chair of Visual and Media Anthropology at the HCTS.
