Guest lecture "Her story: Dalit Women and Patriarchal Violence in India"
Dr. Runa Chakraborty Paunksnis teaches at the Institute of Asian and Transcultural Studies at Vilnius University, Lithuania. Her doctoral dissertation is on Dalit Women's life narratives.She is currently editing an anthology of progressive Bengali writings from the 19th century till present times. Her academic interests include Gender and Subaltern Studies, Postcolonial Literature and Media Studies.
