Shuxian Ouyang is from Jiangsu, China. After she finished her bachelors degree of English Study in Zhejiang, she joined in Shanghai Clinical Research Center (SCRC), a third party full-service assessment and resource center to facilitate drug development, in charge of public relations and international corporations. Mysterious as the health issue is, her curiosity is completely excited by the two years working experience related to medical research including bio-bank, ethic review and so on and she decides to get a better and academic understanding of regional health and society. The interdisciplinary nature of the MA Health and Society in South Asia in Heidelberg interests her much and offers her a great platform to continue further study in medical anthropology.
