Philippos is a third semester MAHASSA student from Greece, where he previously studied biology. Yet, his great interest in topics such as gender, sexuality, sexual health, and migration, his passion for languages, history, politics and different cultures around the globe, as well as his involvement in women’s, LGBTQI+, refugees and migrants’, and sex workers’ rights in Greece led him to switch paths and aim for an interdisciplinary Master program, which would have medical anthropology at its core. Thus, MAHASSA seemed to be the perfect choice for him.
