Dr. Siddhartha Mukerji is Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. His areas of interest include electoral politics in India, public administration and e-governance, and political economy of industrialization. The Federal State of Baden-Württemberg Fellowship at South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University was established as a professorial research fellowship for Indian academics under the Indo-German Cultural Exchange Programme. It was initiated in 1986 by the minister-president of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg.
