Welcome to Himanshu Jha
 | The South Asia Institute cordially welcomes Himanshu Jha Ph.D. (National University Singapore) as Lecturer and Research Fellow at the Department of Political Science. Jha holds a PhD in Political Science (South Asian Studies) from National University of Singapore. |
He received a M. Phil in Public Policy from Australian National University, a Master in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Bachelor with Honors in History from University of Delhi.
Jha's most recent research is to explore the processes of institutional change by looking in-depth at the evolution of Right to Information Act in India. He wishes to strengthen and expand his research in the fields of institutions, institutional change, the Indian State and bureaucracy. Prior to his doctoral engagement he was working in developmental sector in India.
