Welcome to Professor P. Sahadevan

The South Asia Institute is pleased to announce that Professor P. Sahadevan will act as DAAD Guest Professor at the Department of Political Science during the summer term of 2016. Professor Sahadevan will offer one foundation course and two seminars during the semester.

Lecture: Introduction to Peace and Conflict Resolution

Professor P. Sahadevan has been Professor of South Asian Studies at the Centre for South Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, since May 2003. He is also Director of Pakistan Studies Programme and one of the world leading experts on Sri Lanka and Maldives.
He will bring in his rich expertise in conflict resolution and South Asia studies. His research interests include also Politics, Foreign Policy and Security of Sri Lanka and Maldives, Ethnicity, Terrorism, Civil War, India’s Foreign Policy and Diaspora Studies.
