Welcome to Kai Fürstenberg

Kai Fürstenberg will start as a lecturer at the Department of Political Science from April 1st 2015. He studied political science, political science of South Asia and South Asian history at the Universities of Heidelberg and Uppsala.

He did his PhD-research under the supervision of Professor Mitra and recieved his PhD in political science writing about Evolutionary Institutionalism. His research interests are Evolutionary Institutionalism, biopolitics, especially the translation of biological concepts into the social sciences, as well as conflict analyses and security-research. Kai Fürstenberg will be in charge of course guidance and supervision and examinisation of BA and MA students.
