Gita Dharampal-Frick: Mittel und Wege - Ausgewählte Reden und Schriften“ von Mahatma Gandhi & Lexikon zur Überseegeschichte
 | Reclam and the Franz Steiner Verlag released two new publications by Prof. Gita Dharampal-Frick, head of the Department of History at the South Asia Institute.

In March 2015, Reclam publishes the book "Mittel und Wege - Ausgewählte Reden und Schriften“ by Mahatma Gandhi, edited by Prof. Gita Dharampal-Frick. The volume brings together the most important texts and speeches by Gandhi and reports in this way his life. Further information is available here. |  |
Recently, the Franz Steiner Verlag released a new lexicon for non-European history ("Lexikon zur Überseegeschichte"), edited by Hermann Joseph Hiery which includes around 2,000 keywords related to non-European cultures and people. Prof. Dr. Gita Dharampal-Frick took over the responsibility of editing the South Asia section of the 922-page volume. The publication includes more than 100 contributions by (current and former) scholars from the South Asia Institute who thereby enriched the academic engagement with the region's history in Germany.
