Movie "The Gulabi Gang on 15.11.2014 at Karlstorkino

The Gulabi Gang is a documentary about Indian women in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, which adresses women's rights and also social injustices.
Gulabi means pink and it symbolizes the feminine being. Women of the so-called "Gulabi Gang" wear pink saris and bamboo batons that are otherwise be used by the police.
