Indian Arts Festival on June 7th, 2014
 | On June 7th, 2014 the first Heidelberg Indian Arts Festival will take place at the theater in the Romanischer Keller, Seminarstraße 3 in Heidelberg, which is organized by Swarali Paranjape (South Asia Institute) and Johannes Alisch (Cluster Asia and Europe). During the event, dance and music workshops are conducted (10 am - 4 pm) and on 8 pm Swarali Paranjape and Carolin Dassel, Hindol Deb and Debasish Bhattacharjee give their performance at the concert and the dance.
Program:
10 am - 1 pm
Dance workshop with Swarali Paranjape costs 45€ (without concert) or 50€ (including concert) or for students 35€ (including concert)
1 pm - 4 pm
Music workshop with sitar player Hindol Deb (Mumbai) costs 45€ (without concert) or 50€ (including concert)
8 pm
Concert and dance performance with Hindol Deb and Swarali Paranjape. Other artists of the evening are Debasish Bhattacharjee (Tabla) and Carolin Dassel (Kathak-dance).
The entry for the concert costs 12 /15 € and is possible from 7 pm.
