Conference organised by SAI & KAS on April 9th, 2014


The conference on "South Asia in Transition: Elections, Political Parties, and Civil Societies", organised by the South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg, and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) will take place on April 9th, 2014.

The conference begins at 9 a.m., ends at 4 p.m. and takes place in the Academy of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Tiergartenstrasse 35 in Berlin. The Participation is free, but requires an online-registration.
This conference will bring together experts from India, Afghanistan and Pakistan to disucss implications and conditions under which the elections take place. The South Asia Institute is represented by: Prof. Subrata Kumar Mitra, Dr. Jivanta Schöttli, Prof. Sayed Wiqar Ali Shah, Dr. Siegfried O. Wolf,
Dr. Martin Gieselmann.
