Reading of "SHAKTI" by Kerrin of Schwerin on 27.11.2013

The novel was published in autumn 2013 by the Draupadi and deals with the research work of the Orientalists Kathrin and Thomas in India and the related encounters and developments.
Kerrin Countess of Schwerin is Private Lecturer of Modern History South Asia. She studied at the Free University of Berlin, the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis (M.A.), Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She had her Ph.D. (1971) and habilitation (1977) at the South Asia Institute of Heidelberg.
