International Conference " Memories of Post-Imperial Nations"
 | An international conference entitled "Memories of Post-Imperial Nations. The Aftermath of Decolonization, 1945-2010" takes place on 27 and 28 May 2013 and focuses on the cultural memory of former colonial powers. |
In this context, international historians and social scientists come together to try a comparison across nations about the imperial past of these countries.
The conference is organized by the former director of the South Asia Institute, Prof. Dr. Dietmar Rothermund and takes place at the Internationales Wissenschaftsforum Heidelberg (beginning Tuesday, 5/28/2013, 9:00 a.m.).
