SAI - News

The SAI is featured prominently in two short films - produced by Heidelberg University and Campus TV respectively - that are now available online.

The approximately 7-minute long clip UniverCity: Universität Heidelberg. The Future. Since 1386. includes an interview with Prof. Dietmar Rothermund who is reporting on the foundation of the SAI (Mediaserver of Heidelberg University). The entire film is part of a presentation of Heidelberg University in India. It is used in the „Urban Mela“ that tours through Indian cities until January 2013.
A second film of 6 minutes is devoted to the jubilee of the South Asia Institute and in particular to the Open Day on Saturday, May 12th. It was produced by CAMPUS-TV and includes an interview of the executive director of the SAI, Prof. Dr. Marcus Nüsser. (Video on YouTube)
