Today, on 5th August 2013, start this year's Summer Schools at the South Asia Institute. The individual courses with linguistic focus are offered by the departments Cultural and Religious History of South Asia and Modern South Asian Languages and Literatures.

Dr. rer. pol. Jivanta Schöttli and Marian Gallenkamp M.A. of the department of political science were invited to give a talk at the this year´s 10th  Indian film festival in Stuttgart.

On friday, July 19th, this year's summer party will be starting at 6pm at the SAI foyer, food, drinks and music included. At the party the election for the pictures of the upcoming SAI-calendar 2014 will be held. We are looking forward to this. Before the summer party starts there will be - traditionally - a reading of literary texts at the library at 5pm.

We cordially invite to the conference entitled International Relations, Security and Democracy in South Asia. The conference will take place on July, 22th 2013, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. in room E11 of the South Asia Institute.

  

We cordially invite to the International Conference entitled "Philosophy and Science - Indo-German Dialogues and Dimensions". The conference is inaugurated  on Thursday, 11th July, 2013 at 6 p. m. in Senatssaal, Alte Universität Heidelberg. On 12th and 13th July, 2013 the conference takes place in the Heinrich-Zimmer-Saal, SAI-Library.
