The workshop "The Vernacular City: Urbanism in Modern South Asian Literature and Film" takes place on Friday, May 16th, 2014 at 10.30 a.m. in the Karl Jaspers Centre, Vossstr. 2, Room 002 (Library).

The Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung published an article "Mittelalterliche Handelsbeziehungen anhand von Granatschmuck erforschen" on May 2nd, 2014. Der project director Apl. Prof. Dr. Jörg Gengnagel explains the new BMBF-research project "Granat in historischen und archäologischen Quellen aus Südasien".
