International Conference from 4. - 6.10.2015
  From 4th - 6th October 2015, 6:00 p.m. an international conference entitled “Studying Documents in Pre-modern South Asia and Beyond: Problems and Perspectives” will take place at the Heidelberger Akademie der Wissenschaften, Karlstraße 4, 69117 Heidelberg.  
New issue of South Asia Institute Papers
The second issue of the paper series called South Asia Institute Papers has been published.

The edition includes Amiya P. Sen
´s  (Modern Indian History at the Department of History and Culture at Jamia Millia Islamia) article on "Hinduism" and the Problem of Self-Actualisation in the Colonial Era: Critical Reflections (PDF).

From Savifa to CrossAsia
Due to the cooperation between SAI, UB and the Berlin State Library, Savifa will cease to exist in August 2015. Core modules of Savifa like E-Publishing, Digital Collections and the Odisha Bibliography are already accessible at the Virtual Library CrossAsia.
