Welcome to Professor Rahul Mukherji as new Head and Professor at the Department of Political Science
The South Asia Institute cordially welcomes Prof. Rahul Mukherji, Ph.D. (Columbia) as new Head and Professor at the Department of Political Science. He succeeds Prof. Subrata K. Mitra, who headed the department from 1994 to 2014,  and will give lectures starting from winter semester 2016.

 Prof. Marcus Nüsser (Head of the Department Geography, South Asia Institute) will give the Wilhelm-Lauer-Lecture on June 24, 2016, 4:30 pm. The lecture entitled "Vom Wohnsitz des Schnees zum sozio-hydrologischen Wirkungsgefüge im Himalaya" will take place at the Geographic Institute of the University of Bonn.
