Urdu Intensive Course for All Levels (02.09 – 20.09)

Are you interested in learning Urdu? We will offer a three-week Urdu summer intensive course for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students of Urdu. Not only will it be filled with lots of instructive classes, the accompanying programme filled with fun activities can also provide an additional platform for an intellectual exchange with Pakistani and Indian lecturers and doctoral students. 
The course will take place from the 02.09 to the 20.09 here at the South Asia Institute in Heidelberg. You may also choose to receive credit points (ECTS) for your attendance if you fulfill the necessary requirements. "On Such a Full Sea Are We Now Afloat": The 7th March Speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman - Lecture by Dr. Sonia Amin

The South Asia Institute is delighted to invite you to the lecture "On Such a Full Sea Are We Now Afloat: The 7th March Speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman" given by Dr. Sonia Amin. This public lecture will contextualize the historic speech delivered by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 7, 1971 at the Ramna Race Course, Dacca, to a people soon to embark on a nine-month long liberation struggle. The lecture will take place on Friday, 26 of January at 16:00 in the Great Lecture Hall of CATS, building 4130, Room 010.01.05. It is a public lecture and all those interested are most welcome to join.
