Anand Mishra studied Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India and Computational Linguistics and Classical Indology in Heidelberg. At present he is working as Assistant in the department of Cultural and Religious History of South Asia, Heidelberg University. He is also working on his doctoral thesis on Modelling the Pāṇinian System of Sanskrit Grammar under Prof. Dr. Axel Michaels.
His main area of interest are knowledge representation and modelling, Sanskrit and Computational Linguistics, Medieval Vaiṣṇavism, especially Śuddhādvaita.
