Language Classes
The Department Cultural and Religious History of South Asia (Classical Indology) offers classical Sanskrit in annually courses which last two semesters. Additionally, we teach classical and colloquial Tibetan in cooperation with the chair of Buddhist Studies. The knowledge of these main languages are imparted and broadened in lots of seminars and literature reading courses within the bachelor and master programme. Pali, Singhalese and Nepali, tought lower intensely, extend our range of language courses.
